It took admittedly longer than expected and hoped. But now it is finally time and there is an official plug-in for Magento available in the store.
The plug-in is free of cost and can easily be installed via the Magento backend. And besides the need to enter your VISITLEAD customer ID (CID) there are no other settings! The plug-in then incorporates the VISITLEAD tracking script into your Magento frontend pages (the public websites) and basically you’re ready to go.
- If not already done: set up Visitlead account
- Embed our plug-in in Magento and enter the 24 digit Visitlead account ID (CID) in the plug-in settings
- Save and publish website
- Switch to Visitlead and log in
- Done
Of course, you can enter the Visitlead tracking code without the plug-in. Although with the plug-in it is way more convenient.
If you now go to your homepage, the LiveChat should be available. Depending on the settings, also voice and video chat. In case you are using the Chrome browser we are also recommending our Screensharing and LiveChat connector.
